Problem
I have Postini but it's not affecting my Aliases (E-mail Forwarders). Will it work?
Solution
It won't. Postini utilizes dedicated servers to filter their e-mail, which requires a DNS change (MX Entries specifically).
All mail to any domain with any Postini addresses are sent to those servers. Postini filters messages for e-mail accounts that have Postini enabled and passes on the rest (including your Aliases) to your LB Hosting server.
The messages arrive on the server and are then forwarded to the primary e-mail address. They're then scanned by Box Trapper and Spam Assassin . The messages then appear in your Inbox.
Because the forwarded e-mail is never sent through the Postini servers, it's not possible to filter them.
To filter messages for Aliases, you'll need to add them as normal e-mail accounts using the E-mail Accounts tool in the cPanel. Then use the Postini tool in your cPanel to add them to Postini individually.
